”..He continued pursuing Fin, though.. and completely disregarded me as anyone but someone to keep away from…” Tseng shrugged. “..Just forget everything… you’ll be better off that way. Go if you want. I’m not going to stop you.”
"I don’t know… I don’t know why he avoided you… I just know he went up and vanished after saying goodbye the Fin he knew… I can’t help but feel he avoided you because he was ashamed of himself… Or just was too scared to-… Why am I even saying these things?! I shouldn’t even be trying to understand him or help him."
Hands held the boy’s head before fingers ended up running through it as he tried to regain his composure. A deep breath was taken as he took a few steps away. He was just confused and angry with himself for what had just happened.
"Bye F… T-Tseng. I’ll see you later… Hopefully when my damn mind is in check and not a scrambled mess."
”..I wouldn’t have wanted anything to do with you because of him… In the previous timeline, you wanted nothing to do with me… Sometimes I wonder if it’s better that I go back to pretending if I have no memories of anything.. At least then it wouldn’t hurt to look at you.”
He looked away, turning away from the other and laying his head on the table.
"… I don’t know what goes through the other me’s head… But if I were him… I wouldn’t have gotten involved in something like that at all."
He took hold of the cup again and held it tight. Not too tight so it wouldn’t break the cup. He bit his lip a little before shaking his head. It was so weird to be saying all of this. He didn’t know why he was exactly saying this like this but they were just coming out.
"We’re both cowards… Him and I… And I bet… When he realized he couldn’t handle the emotions and stress of a relationship… He bolted like a coward thinking he’d become a burden… I know he can’t… We’re not made to. We weren’t even made to get this far…"
Hands trembled as he suddenly let go of the cup and stumbled two steps back. A hand went up to cover his mouth as eyes widened in shock. How did…?
"I’m sorry… I need to go… I don’t know what’s going on with me and it’s starting to freak me out."
He sighed, stirring his cup a bit before setting it down. “You both need to apologize to each other. Because we all know he cares about you. He’s just got the funniest, fucked-up way to show it by running everyone off with his mouth.”
Yeah Tseng was still kind of sore.
"Please don’t say things like that while I’m around. I mean… That last bit… It just… Bothers me. I will go apologize to him when I get back though. I hate it when we’re on conflicting sides."
He tried to take another sip but the bitterness of the situation made it hard to swallow for a second. Once it had gone down he looked away again before putting the cup back and shaking his head again. A sigh would once again escape him.
”..You’re welcome.” He murmured, taking a sip of his hot chocolate. “..Oi, where’s your tag-along?”
"Yoshiya and I had a fight over some personal matters. He told me to get out for a while and I did. I know it’s weird to say I got kicked out of my own house for a while… But honestly it’s for the better I give him time to cool off."
Christopher replied while taking a sip. His eyes were closed as he thought back to it a bit. It was really stupid with how they both reacted to each other over the matter that started it all. After taking his sip he sighed and shook his head a little.
"He’s not a tag-along. He’s my… I guess you could say brother figure… But I rather just call him my brother."
”..Sure? Cups are over there.”
"Thanks! I haven’t anything like this to drink in a while!"
The brunet responded with a smile before getting a cup of hot chocolate and then standing next to Tseng.
"Once again. Thank you."
